Well Planned’s other co-founder, Yohana Cruz Sheridan, is a commissioned Notary Public in the state of Oklahoma. For years, her work brought her to hospitals, nursing homes, and the kitchen tables of people preparing their own estate plans.
Again and again, she saw the same thing: below-par documents circulating in the community, signed by people who had no way of knowing whether those papers would actually hold up when the moment came. The need was clear — people deserve documents they can trust, drafted to do what they expect.
